This project will run for 100 days, with 10 pages of “scripture” produced by the AI each day. The final work will be printed and bound.

The AI has been trained to use texts from the nonhuman turn, posthumanism, and indigenous works to create a scripture for a new faith where humans live on the Earth peacefully alongside all life forms. This religion experiences the soul as a consciousness which is projected into a body, whichever form that body may take. Adherents of this religion see themselves as caretakers of the Earth and of all living beings who owe their existence to Her continued benevolence and generosity.

Authors whose work informs the AI include Donna Haraway, Robin Wall Kimmerer, Suzanne Simmerd, Plato, Raymond Pierotti, and Neera M. Singh. The AI will be further refined and trained with additional texts, thoughts, and philosophies over time. Once it is sufficiently informed, or “trained,” the 100 days will begin.
